Ashley Eva Brock - fashion and costume designer, fiber artist, and educator - will be spending an intimate afternoon discussing and teaching the basics of natural dyeing on textiles using different species of Eucalyptus.

We will start by exploring how these dyes interact with silk as Ashley walks you through various shibori/itajime techniques.  Later in the class, participants are encouraged to dye garments or other materials they would like to bring.

Participation in this workshop is $100.  All materials needed for this workshop will be supplied, but participants are also encouraged to bring two small garments or other pieces to dye in addition to materials provided.
